Subgroups:
2 members: TRIC-A, TRIC-B

Topology:
Each TRIC subunit contains three transmembrane domains, a cytoplasmic C-terminus and a luminal N-terminus. Functional entities are formed by homotrimerizarion.

Function:
Modulate the release of Ca2+ through the ryanodine receptor or inositol triphosphate receptor, and maintain the homeostasis of ions within sarcoplasmatic and endoplasmatic lumen
